We worked with HSBC to conceive, design and build their signature fan zone area at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship. The brief was to create a zone that engaged fans in all of the sports that HSBC sponsored. Activities included a rugby agility challenge, badminton return, miniature version of 18th at Abu Dhabi Golf Club, mini velodrome and tennis target challenge.
In addition, we created a digital user journey to aggregate the scores users achieved at each activity. All data was collected along with some personal details and stored in a secure database with real-time access provided to the client. Based on individual performance, a scorecard email was automatically compiled and shared with each player. We also created an online and on-site leaderboard to show players how their score compared with those of others.
