This year, in partnership with CSM Live, Provision Events delivered the HSBC Mass Engagement activation programme at the Hong Kong Sevens. As well as designing, building and running the Fan Village in the HSBC Try Rugby Zone, PVE also installed an interactive activity downtown at Hysan Place. Both activations encouraged fans to try different rugby positions with scoreboards and scorecards showing them how they had done.
The Hong Kong Sevens is the most anticipated weekend of the HSBC World Sevens Series, attracting 120,000 people over the three days of play.
Through the partnership with CSM Live PVE were awarded the contract to provide 2 activations at the 2018 HSBC Hong Kong 7’s, the first a shopping centre activation including full stand build and the second the Try Rugby Zone in the fan village at the event – the activations saw participants take part in activities that related to skill sin Rugby 7’s to learn which position suited them best.
