American Airlines - Flight Tracker Putt

IDEAS | INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES | DIGITAL ACTIVATION

Summary

Flight Tracker Putt turns a putting challenge into a shared transatlantic journey. Each recorded putt adds airmiles and moves an airplane along a live route from New York to London.

A staff scoring tablet provides a large +1 PUTT control alongside live totals and journey progress. Admin controls allow the team to correct putts or airmiles and reset the journey when needed.

The audience display brings each contribution to life with an animated putt reveal, a live flight map and milestones that translate the accumulated airmiles into familiar travel distances.

JAMES MACLAY | EVENTS MANAGER, IMG

We hired Provision to conceive, design and deliver the fan zone at The Rio Olympics in 2016 and I was extremely impressed how the Provision Design team worked with Provision Events to deliver the experience. The Provision Team provided a complete turn key operation in a very professional manner; from providing the initial concept and design of the area, to building and running of the experience. We are looking forward to working with the Provision team again in future.
